At Brabant Lodge, we push the limits of trophy fishing. Our efforts have led to three IGFA-certified World Record catches, one standing unbroken for 40 years. Two new IGFA-certified World Records were set in 2024 at our NWT fishing lodge.
The good old days never left Brabant Lodge.
Caught on June 29, 2024, this fish measured 110cm or 43 inches on the official IGFA measuring device, earning owner/guide Peter Fox the IGFA All Tackle Length Fly World Record for Northern Pike.
On July 31, 1985, Mr. John Propp caught this 24 pound, 3 ounce fish to set the IGFA 2-pound tippet Fly Fishing World Record for Northern Pike. The photo you see is the actual fish as skin mounts were commonplace at the time. Mr. Propp donated his World Record fish mount to Brabant Lodge in 1987. Mr. Propp's World Record stands unbroken to this day.
This phenomenal Arctic Grayling was tricked into biting by Mr. Charlie Levine on June 28, 2024. Charlie is a writer and editor at Anglers Journal magazine. This Arctic Grayling measured 47cm or 18.5 inches, securing Mr. Levine the IGFA All Tackle Length World Record for Arctic Grayling.
